Our collections are designed in our Oslo headquarters with a strong focus on lasting silhouettes that also feel modern. Finding the perfect balance of femininity with an edge, simplicity with intricate detailing, and softness with structure. We work exclusively with natural or regenerative fibers, ensuring a soft and luxurious feel, always emphasising the perfect fit.

The Designer:

Marianne Framhus launched framhūs in 2019, starting with a collection of printed scarves. The brand has since expanded to include shirts, blouses, tops, dresses, skirts, and her signature silk scarves.

Growing up near Oslo, with a systems engineer father and a mother who was a tailor and interior decorator, she developed a passion for sewing, design and painting at an early age. She moved to San Francisco to study fashion and textile design to develop her interest further.

After graduating she moved to New York, where she began her career as a fashion and textile designer working for Nicole Miller. She later undertook commissioned projects for Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Bibhu Mohapatra, and Ralph Lauren. Simultaneously, she independently designed and sold her own collection of textile prints to renowned design houses such as DVF, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Phillip Lim, J. Mendel, Club Monaco, Banana Republic, Burberry, Kate Spade, Armani, and more.

Today, she integrates these diverse experiences into her collections, aiming to inspire and empower confidence with timeless and feminine pieces made to last.
